Charming museum a bit out of town but well worth the trip, especially when combined with a visit to "Prainha"
The collection includes about 5000 pieces of folk art representing all aspects of life, mostly from rural Brazil
Collected, and donated to the city, by Jacques van Beuque, who lived in Brazil for many years
Open from Tuesday thru Sundays, 9:30am to 5pm, R$8 per adult (2007)
***And if you are 18 or older make sure not to miss the little hidden room of erotic art. It is great fun.
